32 Mann Street, Gosford

The development of 32 Mann Street will help to revitalise Gosford's economy and reinforce the city's importance as the regional capital of the Central Coast.

Property NSW undertook an analysis of the remaining former Gosford Public School site and prepared a Development Application (DA) for a new building at 32 Mann Street, Gosford. The approved DA will see the development of a new six storey, 7,000sqm mixed-use building, consisting of a mid-rise commercial building with a mixed use ground floor that supports retail uses.

Located at 32 Mann Street, the site occupies a key location in Gosford and provides an important link between the CBD and waterfront.

Key elements of the development include:

  • environmentally sustainable design
  • active street front, with ground floor cafes and alfresco dining, and
  • flexible open plan design with views from the upper levels.

The building will accommodate 300+ positions from the Department of Finance, Services and Innovation (DFSI). It delivers on the Government’s 2015 election commitment and forms part of the Government’s Decade of Decentralisation Policy. It will offer more opportunities for people to live and work on the Central Coast. The DA is part of a broader concept plan for the eventual redevelopment of 1.1 hectares of government land in Gosford. Development of the site is consistent with both the NSW Government’s Draft Central Coast Regional Plan, and the State Government’s plans for revitalising the Gosford waterfront precinct.
